Class Description

This class offers a space for grounding and movement exploration through somatic and imaginative practices. With a regard for each body as a site of perceptual intelligence and lived knowledge, we will work with imagery, anatomical investigations and improvisational scores to find the dances of the day. Through embodied listening, presence-ing, and tracking the interplay between proprioception and perception we will inhabit and co-create this space of relationality that is a dance class. Class participants are encouraged to bring something to write with and on.
