Class Description
This class will help build floorwork techniques for contemporary dancers with the movement approach being heavily influenced by breakdancing. Complex movements will be scaled down to their simplest forms in order to teach even the most inexperienced of movers how to safely progress into larger and more daring movements. The goal of this class is to help the participants to locate their physical and mental limitations, and provide assistance with working with and or overcoming those limitations. This will be achieved by creating a safe space for participants to question and be challenged with the purpose of finding a new understanding and ultimately an expansion of both their mental and physical capabilities.
